No. just American football...but they do now have a 12 year waiting list for getting a season ticket...and only 8 home games a season at home..but then that is shared between two different Stadiums...Tell's us something about their marketing strategy. icon_eek.gif icon_biggrin.gif

The bets came across with a agument over our attendances, then I stated that Cas are probabally the best supported team in the world V's population, he laughed that off then we made these 3 bets.

If not yet shown my friend this yet, but heres a link for Attentance V population figures in 2006 even thou are population asnt grown since then are attendances are up from then.


What a load of poop that stat is.

Loads of fans that go down to teh jungle every week are from the Selby area. If you are just looking at the population of Castleford it is complete tosh. There of course is also Pontefract and Knottingley. Niether will be included in that population figure.

Is there much to do in Castleford to compete with Rugby League?

I cant be d looking it up but I think some Kiwi or South African towns may get better ratios for local Union teams.
