Thanks for giving another of my fellow countrymen a big pension
why is it everyone thinks tronc is pretty good player but not you?
It wouldn't have anything to do with your hate of the best rugby league comp in the world would it?

Troncy may have been reasonable 4 or 5 years ago.
Look, if he was still any good they would have kept him in the NRL.
Like so many other Aussies who come to play in the Super Duper League his best years are long past him.
It's strange how so many Aussies who can no longer handle the NRL seem to end up playing well for Pommie sides.
that speaks volumes

Do you remember a centre/wing partnership of a certain couple called Hape/Vainikolo who were one of the best in SL, who wanted to play over here instead of the NRL?
Or Joe Vagana?
There's plenty more who could have easily chosen to play in the NRL but wanted to play in SL.

And Joe vagana...are you serious?
Do you honestly believe that fat b*stard walked away from offers in the NRL to head to England because he wanted to?

| Fact is that 90% of the NRL players that sign for SL would still be 1st teamers in the NRL that season if they had stayed. Either that shows up the reliance on the NRL to have past it old timers in squads or you are talking Bull0x as usual!
If they could afford him Menzies would still be in Manly's 17, Fitzgibbon and O'Meley would still be starters at the Roosters and Tronc would still be a starter at the Cowboys next year.

I know, the Aussie coaches didn't recognize their obvious ability which is why they came here. Once proven they had many opportunities to go back to the NRL to play at that level. If they were reserve grade then they wouldn't have played international as there are plenty of decent NZ players about.

Why do you feel the need to insult him? Calling him a b@stard was totally unnecessary for a start, and yes I do. At the time he was sought after by clubs from both the NRL and SL, because he was one of the best props in the competition.

Vainikolo was first team for canberra, we turned him from a ok winger/centre to best player in the world within 2 seasons, just shows what moving to a good league can do.
