| Bradford used to average 15k. Now they can't even get that for their biggest game of the year. Wow they have fallen from grace spectacularly.
Just for the record, since this is probably one of the only times I'll get to say this, Hull FC have the biggest average attendance in SL with 17,039, with not one crowd below 14k so far. Although I expect that to drop unless somehow we manage to stuff Saints away on Monday!

How far would you attribute those massive Hull crowds to early season success, how far to a hatred of the odious and rightly reviled Hull KR, how far to the rise of Tom Briscoe, and how far to the quality of the Hull FC website?

| the stadium has a lot to do with it espec when its freezing and raining and playing as bad as we have done for a decade if we had a ground like wigan or hull we would get bigger crowds.

| Just realised slstats.org missed out the Hull vs Catalans attendance, so the average is 15,900. Still the largest, though.

Our crowds have grown with the presence of KR most certainly.
And they are slightly higher most likely due to our run of form (the game against Wigan being because it was our first of the season).

You having a laugh, right? I doubt very few people go to the rugby because the club has a good website!

Oh really?
Did Bradford have a different ground back when they got to 5 Grand Finals on the bounce?
Playing bad for a decade – what about the 5 Grand Finals on the bounce?
Why not do what the missing Bulls fans do.
Buy a Leeds shirt.

| Bulls win game. Folk who do not wish us well find things to whinge about. Nothing new under the sun.

| I think the scope of activities available in West Yorkshire compared to Wigan/Saints (eating pies/rugby league) and Hull (kicking people in the face/rugby league) keep Leeds/Bradford derby crowds low IMHO.

Nice try. It actually occurred in West Yorkshire involving people from, err. West Yorkshire.
Bye for now.

Says a lot about the kind of 'fans' you attract- sad really, I thought RL is about supporting your team, not admiring the stadium. Look at Headingly- not brilliant but Leeds can attract the crowds.
Personally I think Bradford have to move away from the whole 'Bully Bully' thing, it's passed its sell-by date.

We didn't steal them, they were willingly donated so long as we promised to use them as often as we can!

rubbish, you all managed to find odsal when you were successful and lots of free tickets
personally i think the lack of success recently just shows that a lot of bradford fans really were/are fairweather/gloryhunting fans
i dont think the leeds-bradford derby can come anywhere close to matching the wigan-saints and hull derbies, in fact i would say cas-wakey is getting bigger

Yeh, same was said around us. Some gaps, but the seating stand was full and away stand was over half full and pop stand was significantly more cramped than we've had for a while! With the Hull KR game it was announced as around 12,000 and that felt bigger.. plus Hull KR had a lot of fans in the pop stand compared to most other teams.
