Forgive me but that's horse. In what way is the whole league in trouble? What do you think is going to happen?
It's the first game of the season proper for Fax and Widnes' second game. Ring rusty mate. Once the hard ground sets in we should see some great matches. Super League also has its dross from time to time. Personally (taking away my obvious glee at Halifax's victory) i thought it was an OK match. Too many mistakes for the purist and a bit niggly but not bad as a contest. |

Widnes look awful with ball in hand and the fact that Fax seem to have all the possession mixed with some grabby Widnes defence means that they have the lead in a somewhat boring game... the Murray tennis is more exiting at the mo ![]()

Difference is that most of the "poor" SL clubs would have put 50 plus on either of those tonight. And I dissagree anyway. SL hasnt been poor, it's just the emphasis has been turned onto the defence so far which I prefer. |

I thought it was a good game won by the better side on the night. i also hope it wasnt an indication of who will be champs as crucrusaders points out. cullens assesment seemed pretty accurate, plenty for him to work on now as we were very predictable. Lee doran also needs to work on his discipline

The World cup is the pinnacle of the football world , I have seen some of the most boring lifeless games I have ever witnessed played within it's confines
The level that the game is played at is no guarantee of quality or entertainment
Tonights match was entertaining and had some real quality play , It also had some poor play and was disjointed at times
That is sport , you never know what you will get , that is why we watch it
