Yes in terms of players, not incompetent, unprofessional coaches who are ruining clubs like Lowes is.

| Noble is being replaced at the end of the season so won't be sacked.

Surely the coach can only change things as the players develop or are changed, no?
Good to see a lot of knee jerking taking place on here though, it's only just turned March FFS.

Warrington are on their worst run for 12 years, and he still hasn't been sacked. Nothing knee-jerk there.

That just means the clubs are safe, not their jobs.

| I think its between Lowes and Macnamara really.. or maybe throw Noble in the frame.. all teams that play Leeds within the next coming weeks. I would say Warrington will give Lowes 2 or 3 weeks to turn it around, Noble needs to win the next two games, especially Leeds, and Macnamara to keep all the way up too Leeds.

| So we gnash our teeth at the failure to give young British players a chance, but young British coaches have to work miracles in minutes or they're out the door. Right...

It seems to be the way forward, dump the Brit coaches and bring in a Aussie, then crow about hom many Brit players you have in the squad.

| How many of these coaches in Super League actually have professional coaching qualifications?

They've only lost three matches haven't they?
Knee jerkery surely.

| Thats what i thought.
All this crud about counting the games from the end of last year is rubbish to me.
There's no one more disappointed than me at Wires' start to the campaign but Lowes should get half a season at least for mine. The players believe in him and they're a better judge than us.
With a top 8 system we could replace him half way through and still be fine anyway.
If I remember right we had a very poor start in 05 before going on a 12 or 13 match run to finish 4th after easter. I'm hoping it's deja vu

....all of them otherwise they wouldn't have the job. The last one to lack the qualifications was Garry Schofield who had to step down at Huddersfield.

or the players how to play?
This is the same team of "wonderful can do no wrong" players that the previous coach had and still..............................
So who is "bad"
The coach?
The players?
Both?
Neither and the board should take a running jump!
I would suggest that it is a combination of things but the biggest part, to me, is that the common link in the failure is the players as they are as bad now as they were then.

| Warringtons problems are not jsut with the coach.
Sure they have had some REALLY terrible coaches, but over the years they have had major problems in their side that need fixed by management.
Ive watched a few of their games this season, and you have the likes of Monaghan, King, Rauhihi, Anderson....some bloody handy players.
So can someone tell me why it is the same ****ing useless losers who keep making the same ****ing mistakes in every game.
For instance....Matt King doesnt get the ball unless its a mistake. In the last game he gets a ball and puts on a try.
The Wolves are attacking the try line and Michael Mongahan calls for the ball out Kings side because something is on.
Higham instead goes to Briers, who predictably ****'s up, and it leads to a try to Wakefield.
They need to clean the club out, get rid of the players that have been there for years and hand this team over to the top class professional players they are paying bloody good money too.
They have a great owner who is basically willing to spend what ever it takes. He wont pump money into them forever though if they stay on this track, he'll end up another top owner forced out of the game through trusting the wrong people, same as Branson.
One last thing.....
Why in the hell have they not partnered up King and Hicks on the same side of the field? King is a class player, but they throw him the ball and then just stand back and expect him to do the rest.
Get Hicks outside King so they can work off each other, and with Monaghan running the plays and Anderson as a ball running option, you're set.
In conclusion....I should be the coach.
