| I would have though the Leigh Sports Village would have been a better option for England v France. It seems quite Yorkshire biased.

I think that Donny is an All Seater may have been influential in the decision.

The South isn't just London.
Apart from Quins which other pro Union team play in London nowadays?

No pro Union teams play in London. Quins is middlesex, wasps is wycombe, sarries is watford, London Irish is reading.
I think the point of having the game at the stoop is that it will sell out and raise the profile of the sport in the capital.

They've always managed decent crowds at Loftus Road I think, Might as well play it at a SL Venue rather than a Football Ground if they think the demand is still there.

Black Backgrounds/Zoot.gif Freedom for supporters of the government, only for members of one party - however numerous they may be - is no freedom at all. freedom is always and exclusively for one who thinks differently.

| They possibly didn't consider Wembley because of Sky's insistance on evening kick-offs, which would make it awkward for Northern fans to get to the game.

The game will sell out. 12,750 capacity including boxes....
Australians/New Zealanders who KNOW they will be here in October will buy now and 1 page ad in TNT in September will see the rest go.

Is it. Far as I know there's a motorway right next to ground with plenty of car parking and plenty of bus links from city centre

The last time I was up there, arriving via the train station, I found a bus part of the way there, but then walked the rest of the way. The same on the way back in reverse.

and only 1 junction off the motorway. For the Tri-Nations final in 2004 it took about 90minutes to get off the motorway onto the (only) carpark.

| I take it there will be a France v England game played mid season.
Why have they not announced the date or venue??
Rumours are that it will be played in Paris in June.

2 junctions, 3 if you come down the A62 (Gelderd Road). I'd recommend the latter, park and eat at the Pack Horse then walk from there.
