| All credit to the Dragons, they didn't start whooping and hollering at the hooter, instead commiserated with the Leigh players. Classy!

| I feel sorry for the Leigh players, who may face uncertainty now. But thank God for that. I was dreading a Super League which would have been smaller than it's ever been in its history.
Sam Moa's gracious comments afterwards sum it up for me. We need a return to licensing.

| Catalan played a very solid second half, took the chances they were offered which mostly came about it has to be said from a leigh team which imploded with high shots and knock ons. leigh need to rebuild quickly assuming they will be losing some of their better players, as the championship will not be easy to get out of and if franchising returns for 2019, there's no guarantee they'll be offered a place in superleague as the landscape is changing. will leigh be able to keep relative stability personnel wise and also financially as hull kr did last year or will they have to cut costs?

| Fair play to the Leigh owner. Spoke all the right words.
Mentioning superleague Europe as a business needs Catalan in the competition

| Thank heavens for that decisive win by the Mediterranean powerhouse. The Catalans started to play to their ability.
Now for next year I am hoping that terrific Toulouse and tempestuous Toronto can gain promotion to Super League, at the expense of witless Widnes and woeful Wakefield.

| I thought Derek Beaumont spoke very well there. I've not been his biggest fan this year due to some of his tweet outbursts, but credit where credit is due. Fair play to him

That would be the woeful Wakefield who finished 5 this year, in the top 8'spot last year and got to the semi final of the challenge cup, with great recruiting rather than just getting players from a higher leagues (ala Toronto ), would it.
Congratulations to Catalan, deserved it today. Kept there discipline well. And to be fair as bad as Walsh was in the 1st half, he was excellent in the 2nd.
If I was a Leeds (Myler), or Wakefield (Horo), fan. I'd be licking my lips after there performances today, Horo especially was outstanding today it my opinion.

Do you think Catalans will be away from trouble with the moronic McNamara in charge?

I agree that McNamara is a problem. Hopefully he will give some of the young French talent their opportunity at Catalans.

I was gonna type similar to the simpleton but why bother, he's just out for the troll. We wouldn't have seen him again if Catalans had lost.
Like you say though, I was very impressed with Horo, he'll fit in nicely next year at Trinity.
