Your reputation proceeds you, ask any sets of SL fans 'Would you like to go to this event with some Hull fans?' 90% would say 'no thanks'...why? because you have a poor reputation in the sport. The solution is a long term approach to building some bridges and enticing fans back to the KC, then your crowds may increase...but events like on Sunday will not help, so the club and the police need to collaborate to address the idiots.

He mentioned the apparent best turnout of Wigan fans at the KC despite a claimed boycott over a few quid, and you say that the total attendance isn't that good because Wigan got more against Catalans, which doesn't relate to the original point.

There is one hell of a drop if you look back over the last few seasons. Obviously I dont have the split for home and away fans but, you want to try and encourage folk to come to your place and not just insult those who disagree with you.

Most of them that has dropped off are home fans who had had enough of the old regime.if you look at 2007,that was when Peter Sharp was in charge and we finished 3/4 that yr....the yrs after was 2 bottom 2 finishes and 2 whimpers in play-off and dont forget there has been a reccision.

As I said, i've no idea on the split of home and away, but the numbers will exist somewhere.
If the pies are talking rubbish, then ignore them but, if not your club should be trying to get them to attend.

The recession and the cost of petrol are major factors in going to away games. I never used to give any thought to petrol costs when going away, but when it costs over 80 quid to fill up you cant ignore it.

Good point and the fact that we and Rovers are "out on a limb" means the cost of travel to us is higher than to anywhere in West Yorkshire and considerably more for Lancs clubs. Hopefully the new management at the KC will be examining their pricing policy for away fans and improving the team for home fans, thus increasing the number of home supporters.
