It says something you needed to include someone from Cas panthers to pad out your list. Along with a player who has announced his retirement, and a couple who are becoming first team players rather than actually being first team regulars.

You wouldn’t demand that Cas had 16/17 SL quality products (clearly) why make that demand of Toulouse?

hey, we have gone from 0 interest and 0 clubs in Wales, to 2 semi-pro sides, a decent national side, and some pretty good welsh youngsters who would be playing union if it werent for our attempts at expansion. Thats a success in my book, maybe not a cost effective way of going about it but still, the worst came to the worst and we ended up in a better position than we were prior.

Because cas can sign other English players, Toulouse will need to rely on frnech players. Given les cats haven't been able to find 17 decent French players where will Toulouse get players from?

They will need to produce them, which was kind of my earlier point. There are some players at Les Catalans who could move across, there are some in the French league who can make the step up, the rest Toulouse would need to produce, but they wont be able to do that outside of SL.

And i would say you are wrong, Les Catalans have found probably more than 17 decent french players.

I could explain why your attempts to wriggle is wrong,but I cant be bothered, the fact you needed to use the panthers proves the point.

I would also say it will likely take Toulouse a hell of a lot less than 86 years to produce a list of that level of player.
