it really get's on my tit, when a thread concerning the border agencies investigation into possible irregularities in some celtic crusaders players visa's, turns into a free for all let's slag off widnes thread. the usual suspects are out in force to vent their spleen against our great club, for once can we have a thread about the state of rugby league, certain clubs futures, etc etc etc which widnes are not gratuitously brought into the equation?????????????????????????????????????

What it boils down to is thisLeighton Samuels. This is a Good Thing. I cheered when it happened. As I commiserated with Widnes fans the day their board tried to kill their club.
But it doesn't make what theirr 2006-7 board - including the chairman who promised money he never delivered and then walked out on them – good guys. And it doesn't make what they did acceptable or unexceptional. Nor does it mean 'everybody else was doing it (they weren't) and having to suffer the consequences of what they did is just evidence of how Widnes are/were unfairly treated'.
Still it could be worse ![]()
