Widnes nearly got that 4 seasons ago. If we were still in SL, with the steady growth we had then, we’d probably have been at, or near, the 10,000 mark by now. We out did Wakefield’s attendances every year we were in SL.

It's great news for the club whatever way you look at it. A plan is better than no plan at all and I can't think of many people from the area better backed and qualified to head it up than SRW.
If it comes off, he should be knighted again.
Also i'll just add to AP that its amazing how smug and superior Wires have got since the HJ came about. Good set of fans usually, but they are becoming more KR like every day.
