What I need to know is this, how if their are 16 NRL Clubs can they have 22 weekly rounds ? Surely you play the 15 other Clubs H/A giving 30 rounds + Play offs ? I will take SOO out of the equation.
Explain to none followers please !'"
He should start by knowing that the NRL teams currently play 24 weekly rounds and explain from there. As of now all teams have played 21 games with 3 rounds to go before the playoffs begin.

No. You should start by knowing that the NRL have 2 bye weeks. So they play 22 games and then the playoffs.
It’s been explained previously but...
It’s a 16 team league.
A club plays every team once = 15 games
A club plays every team in their half of the table from last season once more = 7 games
15+7 = 22 games.

| And to be honest that NRL system is rubbish and if we tried it over here people would rightly slate it to hell.

I’m suprised the beer festival and live music after games hasn’t been attempted by any other clubs (to my knowledge) it’s been a huge success for The Toronto Wolfpack.

I believe we used to have something similar, 12 teams played home and away, then top 6 from previous year and bottom 6 from previous year played each other a third time. Not a fan of it.

I thought it was 26 rounds with 24 games (unless they've changed it this year)?
EDIT: Yep, just checked. Still 24 games this year. Not sure where you've randomly made up that league structure from.

Wouldn't really work with an 8-00pm kick off on a Thursday.

Good explaining! You have 1 thing right in that there are 16 NRL teams.
All teams play 24 matches in a 26 round competition with each team having 2 bye rounds before going on to the playoffs.
Care for another attempt to explain the system?

Entirely possible to do both at the same time!

The beer garden is a free entry event, with bars around Toronto giving away free tickets to punters......I am not saying this is a bad idea, but it does pour cold water on the £20 a ticket myth..and for those that actually pay to go to game, the ticket price is £12......CA$20..........Argyle will need to keep throwing about £2,000,000 a year into the club just to keep them competitive in SL should they get there...free tickets and no TV deal, with a contra sponsor who has whinged about the lack of associated ticket sales in return for the free flights and other suppliers moaning about unpaid bills.....I wonder when the wheels will truly fall off this bandwagon?
The announced 7,500 gate last night was one of the greatest works of Fiction since the King James Bible.........

Speaking of fiction, which you were, I can't even fathom how you cobbled this together. The beer garden is inside Lamport stadium. You enter the stadium on the east side with a ticket for either the east or west stand, and your ticket is scanned at the gate. Once inside, you are free to wander round and find a seat. The beer garden is between the east and west sides - you walk through it to get to the west stand. You buy drink tokens which are good for any of the beer/wine vendors. It is only a "free entry event" if you're already in the grounds. You can then, quite effortlessly, enjoy a drink and watch the game at the same time, especially if you turn round and face the pitch.
Quote: Call Me God "... the ticket price is £12......CA$20..........'"
It's CAD$25 for the east stand, same as last year, and CAD$30 for the west stand, $5 more than last year. There are half price tickets for kids and seniors.
Quote: Call Me God " with a contra sponsor who has whinged about the lack of associated ticket sales in return for the free flights'"
Air Transat is bringing over most of the away fans. Recent clubs (and shout out to Swinton) have brought anywhere from 100-250 away fans, so Transat probably isn't "whingeing" so much as they are "rubbing their hands with glee".

Recent source other than the Parksider loop, please.

Oh yes indeed, a fresh Sky audience is all over this one. Pro-tip: the tv cameras set up on the west stand, and so mostly show the crowd in the east stand, which is the smaller crowd. Nevertheless, still a bigger crowd than any of the other qualifiers this weekend.
That clunking you hear isn't the sound of any wheels falling off. It's the conspiracy theory jealousy machine going into overdrive with a bent crankshaft.
