| England are a couple of players short of being able to beat the big guns but we're getting there. England's problem though is more their defensive structures and line speed.

| So frustrating again. We're not far off and if we can keep G Burgess in league we should continue to improve. Having a few in the NRL has clearly worked and we need it to continue.
But annoying that we'll have to wait a year to see them play again.

| Clark our new international hooker. Best positive in the Four nations for England. Sarginson and Hall partnership brilliant. Wrong decision to put Joel in, think next season with more rugby league played he will be a good choice. Also find new winger instead of Charnley. If your keeping Watkins in possibly Briscoe

| After two seasons with the Sydney Roosters, Joseph Burgess should be ready in 2017 for a permanent spot on England's right wing, especially in the World Cup.

| Quote: JEAN CAPDOUZE "I have never seen England or Great Britain play with such attacking flair for the past 40 years -- not since Roger Millward and Thomas Bishop were Great Britain's dazzling halves. Today, led by the amazingly brilliant James Graham, England's attack was outstanding. Some of the credit for that attacking flair must go to coach Steven McNamara.'"
Until Kearney sussed it and put a plan in to stop it, England then didnt have a plan B

Nope, he's a left winger.

The thought of Roby and Clark doubling up is mouth watering, our front row is well set and Sarginson has made a seamless step up to the international stage.
Our back row is of course the worry and hopefully we get a few players that can step up and improve that area but we are moving in the right direction for sure.
I also think it is time to say thank you very much to McNamara and bring in a new coaching set up for next year.'"
This. Didn't think playing with one hooker worked. Its a real shame that Sam Burgess and James Roby weren't available because I think with those two it would have led to a victory against Aus and Kiwi.

Hall was at fault for two tries - I'd think about replacing him first before finding someone to start in Charnley's place.
I really don't get the hype about Clark. Good on the front foot, but the Kiwis absolutely bossed it at the ruck - that's the Hooker's domain.

Difficult to find too much fault with Hall on the first, He was isolated and Nightingale had the jump on him, if anything the kick pressure which was non existent (all day) was at fault.
The second was his fault, if you rush out like that you make the tackle or look a fool.He looked a fool.
Overall though Hall has dealt with pretty much everything thrown his way over the three games and has looked our biggest weapon near the line. Also Excellent bringing the ball back.
I called for Charnley not to be included before todays game but he was much improved on the first 2 games for sure.I still think we have better options at international level though.
Clark when on the field was excellent. You must have much been watching a different game to me

Hall may have come up with a couple of errors today but, he is head and shoulders above Charnley (and any other English winger) at present
It was a superb game of RL and sets up next season (against the Kiwi's) really well.

| We aren't looking far off. Next year Joe Burgess will be ready and should come in onto the left wing partnering Sarginson. Push Hall to right wing with the fit again Jack Reed at Right centre. Then we just need to find another half back or push S Tomkins upto 6/7.
Hardaker/Lomax/Ratchford
J Burgess
Sarginson
Reed
Hall
S.Tomkins
Widdop
G Burgess
Roby
J Graham
J.Tomkins (Should be better after a full preseason and year back in League)
Farrell
O'Loughlin
Clarke
Hill
T.Burgess/Walmsley/Amor

| I think Widdop's performances have shown that just because you play in the NRL doesn't mean you're actually that great, and I think the same would be said of Reed if he was in the side. If someone like Sinfield or Chase had have put in the same level of performance Widdop has in this tournament they'd be getting serious criticism for it.
Having said that I don't think England's main problems are with personnel, but rather their defensive line speed and structure. Two of NZ's trys could have been stopped had the defence moved forward and closed down the ball carrier instead of sliding back towards their own line.

Millward and Bishop were the GB half-backs for the last time in the 1968 World Cup - over 46 years ago - and yet you can't remember Paul Charlton from the tournament that we won 4 years later
Not for the first time with you, I smell utter Bulls-hit.

| I thought the Kiwis handled the big match pressure better than England and that in my opinion is testament to the intensity of the games they get to play in the NRL. It also highlights the benefit of having an International fixture during the regular season.
A highly enjoyable match and well played both sides.
Credit is also due to the referee who gave both sides the opportunity to show what a great spectacle International Rugby is.
I'm looking forward to the fixtures with New Zealand next year and very much hope that Wembley gets booked for the second test.
