I'll have you know he is a stickler for proof. Well...except when it involves him. In which case, he will repeat whatever he likes ad nauseum without giving any whatsoever.
I did love it when because it was starting to look like Crusaders were about to be largely unpunished for administration he claimed that Widnes were not necessarily knocked back from super league for ours, despite repeating that was the reason we were for the past two years and offering no alternative reason.

I have a link on my laptop from the RFL website stating the why's and why not's for the last round of licenses. It clearly stated the reason Widnes were not successful - even stating that where the club tried to dis-associate itself from the past in regards to it's finances it could then not draw upon the past for it's positives. Basically - going into administration blocked their entry.
Going into administration twice in two years should therefore block an entry with bells on. |

I do find it strange that people forget that Paris and Gateshead were left to die beacuse it became clear that they were not working, I wonder if it is because it hurts their arguement.

the RFL should just ignore the fact that international RL needs to be strengthened, or that crusaders add value to the Sky TV deal and instead listen to a bunch of chapionship fans on rlfans.

| its another bitter blow to the heartland clubs that are fighting tooth and nail to stay in the top flight and those that are doing likewise in the championship trying to better themselves.
im all for expansion and making it work but would the same be done for lets say a wakefield if they were in the same financial trouble.
for those that dont think this has an effect on other clubs think again another team will lose their place in super league come june and it wont of been done by using a level playing field has crusaders,quins and catalans wont even be in the mix up and are a shoe in for a franchise spot when 2 of the 3 clearly have failed to meet the rfl`s criteria set three years ago for maintaining a franchise.
you couldnt make it up the rfl are a joke who make the rules up has they go along to fit their agenda.  |
