Strange. Fielden gets a ban for what he did, yet Radford doesn't?????

Not read the rest of the thread but how one player can seemingly get away with serving up a few haymakers and others don’t is beyond me. The RFL have to be one of the most inconsistent disciplinary bodies in sport.

Not particularly bothered whether Radford plays or not, he’s not a player that’s really going to swing the odds and to be honest bailey deserves someone giving him a taste of his own medicine from time to time, but the RFL are a joke with these incidents.

Nonsense. Radford could very well be the difference that ensures Hull win... the inevitable brawl!

On a serious note, I get what you're saying. It's not like thereis much of a difference between Radford and Dowes (who would have replaced him), and neither really strike fear into anyone with their playing ability.

The reason Radford maybe didn't get a ban where Fielden did is because he was sent off? I'd have much rather Lee Radford got a yellow and a one match ban than get sent off in the first 10 minutes but be free to play the next match.

Yep the very same. 1 match ban and £300 fine.

I never claimed they were consistent. As I said earlier, I have long advocated the Aussie tariff system: players then know that their prvious records will automaticaly be taken into account, using a published formula. All offences are graded and the whole system is much more transparent than what we have.

In conversation with Red Hall, the only reason that has been consistently trotted out for not employing it is: "It's not perfect". It may not be but it is a whole lot better than the friggin' lottery we currently suffer under.

Radford shouldn't have reacted how he did and it deserved a sin binning or putting on report but elbows to the back of the head is a much more dangerous act IMO.

Either way Radford has received some sort of punishment and yet again Bailey escapes it.
