Soft spot? The only soft spot you've got is between the ears!
With regards last night it's difficult to gauge. Saints looked superb ball in hand but we were absolutely pathetic and gift wrapped a lot of the tries with missed tackles, dropped ball and poor defensive reads. As good as we were against Wakey last week, we were equally atrocious last night.
Painful as it was to watch, results against Saints won't determine our season, it's what happens against Widnes, Catalans, Hudds & HKR that counts. Win the majority of those games and we'll be fine. We'll get away with the odd mistake against the lesser teams but anyone with the class in the backline of Saints will totally destroy you on even a slightly off day.
As it stands the best team I've seen this year hands down.

Ah, but were you good last week, or were Wakey just atrocious? It's a funny game considering we had beaten Saints the week before last week.

| Salfords challenge is the depth of the squad they have, and it looks as though they are not picking up a couple of injuries a long the way. Not ideal.
Saints looked very good last night mind, the pace they play rugby at is the most refreshing for me. 1st receivers running at the line go at full pelt then turn to pass which is a very difficult skill and the likes of taia, wilkin, LMS do it with ease. Most other teams when putting that play on the 1st receiver is usually jogging and not really drawing anybody in so the next play is easily read. Very well coached team saints

The Sa’u premeditated intentional shot on Morgans neck while he was on the floor was much worse. The Tasi direct head shot on LMS was as equal, the fact that LMS didn’t go down like a sack of spuds avoided Tasi from getting a yellow.

| Holbrook working wonders, the difference between our approach to the game now and under Cunningham is so stark.
Barba might be the best player to have played in SL - if he continues in this form he will be even better than Jamie Lyon.

Sa'u was not much more than an exaggerated flop. If it wasn't for the sending off it would hardly have been commented on. Did Tasi have a clenched fist to the jaw that required LMS to leave the pitch for good?

Hilarious, he's good but he isn't all that special, 1/2 a season and he's better than Jamie Lyon, truly deluded nonsense, you need to give your head a shake.
There are at least a dozen English players that have graced SL that the coke head Barba isn't fit to lace boots for.

Your correct. People talking him up as the best ever import are crazy in my mind.. same with Lyon as well though for me. Has great ability and is a top player but he has been here half a season and Lyon spent 1 season here. For me Ali Lauititi has been the best import in the SL era, 11 seasons, ever present and was for years the best forward in the league.

Opposition players need to learn that when Barba is in defence & he shouts 'tig' as they stroll past him they are supposed to fall to the floor.

Usually Man of Steel is a pretty good indicator, Jamie Lyon won it in first full season for his impact similarly with Barba who is favourite for Man of Steel barring injury to keep him out of the game.
Barba is brilliant off the pitch as well in doing a lot of community work to get kids to play the game, forget the Barba NRL model the UK version is fantastic for promoting the game.
