Quote: Bal "I have to say, have just viewed the video on the FB RL banter page and it seems to show a KR fan pushing a Salford fan to the ground, repeatedly punching him and then been arrested by the police. it also appears to show a Salford fans running to punch a KR fan from behind.'"

It was a rovers fan on the floor the only reason I know is because I know him as I've said on another thread the fighting was so random as we both have the same colours on fans ending up hitting there own fans

The guy on the ground is not wearing colours. He has a black jacket and blue jeans on. TBF, there is no way of knowing who the attacker side was either (and really it doesn't matter), I just assumed as he seemed to previously have been walking with another lad who was wearing Hull KR colours.

Either way, the guy in the below pictures needs identifying. Although that might have already happened as it looks like he got arrested.

One thing for sure is the stewards were way out of their depth. The one in the above picture wandered around like a Saving Private Ryan extra, staring idly down at a man getting punched on the floor.

The RFL will just sweep this under the carpet, they were pathetic hNdling the Cas/Widnes semi final, they will be equally as weak here.

Quote: bewareshadows "There seems to be a fair bit from both sets of fans. But there were hull kr fans hitting each other.

I can understand winning fans invading the pitch. It's wrong but I can understand it.

If the RFL wants to stop it they will have to dock points. Otherwise it starts to become permissive.

I'd dock 2 points of each at the start of next year, with 4 suspended if fans invade the pitch during 2017. Punishment for this year and prevention for next.'"

The RFL don't have the bottle to deduct points. They will announce a suspended fine sometime in 2020 Probably. They have allowed this to creep into out game with measly suspended fines. They just bury their heads in the sand and come out with the line "we're a family sport" "this belongs in football" blah blah blah

Just a couple more than "4 or 5 people throwing punches" then.

Quote: Bal "To add to the bottle throwing incident, on a video sharing site there is a video that shows multiple instances of fighting breaking out, including by and against women after the Hull KR and Salford game. It also shows an unprovoked attack and a person (looks like a Salford fan) being kicked on the ground.

I don't want to run salt in the wound, but there imo absolutely needs of be action taken against both clubs, but especially Hull KR for completely inadequate stewarding in letting the pitch be invaded and then allowing several fights to break out and continue.

Could Hull KR be starting their Champtonship life with point deductions?'"

No of course you don't eusa_liar.gif

That video just looks like a large number of people enjoying themselves (albeit shouldn't really be on the pitch) then just a few individuals having an occasional flare up, probably alcohol fueled, and no different to any Saturday night in any given town/city centre.

Spot on but in todays society of the easily offended muck spreaders it's made out to be so much more and thus will endlessly be debated.

Feel most sorry for the bloke beaten up by the two girls, that will take some explaining at work on monday icon_surprised.gifops:

Exactly people always trot out the old "it's not football" line. It doesn't happen in football. Could you imagine fans fighting on the pitch after a premier league game?

It's crept into our sport and it's got nothing to do with football. Time the RFL grew a pair and started imposing actual punishments on the problem clubs

How many suspended fines have Wakefield had in the last couple of years?

Funny you are defending this sort of disorder when you support a problem club.

Every club has a small percentage of idiots, big games bring more of them, free coaches even more!
Not nice to see but wasn't close to the scale or widnes v cas

More has to be done to stop it, more stePwards / police.

Funny you should say that, as there have been only "problems" when certain teams have turned up - e.g Cas, Widnes and your lot. There haven't been any "problems" with the rest, so wind your neck in.

Although it's not good to see, and it needs to be dealt with, it was hardly a full scale riot. It seems like there were just pockets of skirmishes between p1ss heads. The funniest thing is that some of the most persistent violence comes from female Hull KR supporters. I reckon they must have domestic abuse refuges for men in Hull.
