| Actually, if I am going to the Saints game, I ought to pull my finger out and get some tickets. Where's the best place to buy them, Saints website or Superleague?

| I'm not sure?
Can you get them from the RFL???
Either way seems the figure is down to 1300 standing left in the East Stand, then there are unallocated seats, but then there is no guarantee off being seated together if there is more than one.
I was going to say there are allocated seats left but a check on the website and they are not available today. Not sure if this means there are so few they will only be sold over the phone or if they are now all gone.
Ok just checked the RFL site. If you pick the Saints game, it takes you back to the Saints site to buy.
If you go for all 3 games then you can purchase them through the RFL, but you will be placed in the East Stand. No option that I can see for seating.
Hope that helps

Does anyone have any ticket sales figures for the Wigan game? A lot of talk about saints but haven't seen much about Wigan.
Apologies if someone has answered this earlier in the thread, its midnight and I'm tired lol

You'd think they would be able to sell tickets. After all they are a selling club and would sell anything that wasn't bolted down and stamped with 'Property of Wigan FC'.

| To be fair to the Wigan fans, they have the one stadium that is in no danger of selling out given its size , so no surprise there is no mad rush for tickets early.

| As a purely piece of anecdotal evidence, I have spent the afternoon trying to book a hotel room in Wigan for the Saturday, and for the first time, I found that the place I usually stay at (the Mercure Oak) was fully booked up, as were all other suitable places in the town, and I've had to go 'out-of-town'. So that seems to indicate a fair level of interest. And as noted, there's no rush to buy tickets (haven't got mine yet, either).

| Unfortunately St. George -Illawarra has been drastically weakened by the withdrawal of boom forward Michael Cooper, who insists on being present for the birth of his child. ( That will make Michael the father of an Australian citizen. So, although Michael will likely pull on an England shirt again, he is unlikely to return home to live). I hope that the news of No Cooper will not bugger the attendance figures.

| I like Cooper well enough, but couldn't honestly say his absence especially weakens a St. George side that really aren't all that anyway. Can't see it having much effect on attendance, either.

| FWIW. I believe all the weak Aussie teams will win their games.

A team that includes a reborn Benji Marshall, plus Gareth Widdop, Joshua Dugan, Jason Nightingale, Trent Merrin and others is not to be taken lightly. But Michael Cooper was an important part of the the forward pack.

| How many times did you watch St. George last season? Yes, they have some quality in the halves, and two good wingers (one, now BMozz has gone), but their perennial problem, as it has been for a few years now, is their lack of forward power. And the ongoing praise for Dugan, a good ball-runner but otherwise a very limited player, never ceases to surprise me. I will be surprised if they overcome the Wire.
