How much better would it be over here if our game was even 1/20th of what the NRL is? We certainly wouldn't be questioning a closed shop. But we aren't all that are we? No, because we have Bradford Bulls losing £100k a month and just about to go into administration.

Just so you know. There are NRL clubs in the loo too. I know of one that have got advances from the NRL from the following seasons fees to pay off debts. There are clubs that have literally struggled to see if they can pay their leccy bill. It ain't all rosy over here as they make out. Just look at the Titans for a mo.

Cronulla will be gone if their property development doesn't get permission, Manly lost money last year despite winning the GF, Melbourne need an extra $4.5million a year from the NRL to stay viable, all isn;t exactly rosy in the NRL financial dept!
