i reckon its more he got up there and wasnt impressed with the club itself and particularly its head coach

| I reckon he should come over to England, i'm sure he'd be willing to take a paycut and sign for Leigh.

| He comes across as a money-grabber. And how anybody can take any advice from Mundine is beyond me.

| He'll be at Souths. Great fit for the club once the current publicity dies down.
Probably the highest profile (with JT) Aboriginal athlete in the country atm...
South Sydney's connections with Aboriginality are renowned: The Block, Redfern, Redfern All Blacks RLFC, the strong tradition of Aboriginal players at South Sydney RLFC, Longbottom, The Last Wave, Paul Keating's speech (perhaps the greatest ever made in this country), the Mundine connection (more his family than Anthony, his Dad, boxing champion, Tony, played for the Redfern All Blacks; his uncle is heavily involved in Aboriginal housing in the area), Eric Simms etc. etc. etc.
One of the great stories of Australian sport and life. A new chapter perhaps...?

the broncos were more than happy to parade the signing of anthony mundine in a broncos jersey whilst still a saints player.

| I love watching Sandow play, but he won't win them a comp. Sadly you have to be very structured and consistent to win a GF and Souths halfbacks are neither.

| You don't have to be structured at all.
That is the easy way to do it. Most do of course.

| Willie Tonga now wants out of the Cowboys with 2 years still remaining on his contract. Apparently doesn't like Neil Henry. The Broncos and Eels have both made enquiries to his manager about signing him.
I bet this wouldn't have happened if Inglis had signed for the Broncos. All of a sudden Inglis doesn't sign for the Broncos and now Tonga wants to leave the Cowboys. I bet he ends up at the Broncos, they need a left centre and have money to spend, in the Aussie camp with Lockyer and Thaiday.
Gus has walked from the Cowboys aswell from whatever role it was he had saying that players only join them looking for a second chance or for some pension money. There better off getting rid of Neil Henry, they've been shocking during the 2 years that he's been there and now one of there better players wants to leave due to him. Didn't JT also have trouble with him last year?
