Quote BiffasBoys="BiffasBoys"You use the word sensational to describe Brough's performances. That's where you're going wrong. Nothing backs that claim up.
1 clean break every 2 games. 7 tries. he's top goalkicker in 2013, nothing else.'"
You use stats when it suits you but ignore them when they dont.
Who leads in 40 20s ?
How many penalties has Brough conceded compared to other halves
You started off comparing Brough to Sinfield yet Broughs stats are better.
Even then stats do not tell the whole story. Sinfield leads the Team, he is the captain, he calls the plays etc.
Any Leeds fan would tell you he is their most important player.
The same goes for Brough, he is the captain, he calls the plays, he decides whether to kick on the second tackle or the 6th. It is this decision making and kicking quality that determines to a large extent how the following set is played in attack and defence.
The problem with selectively choosing stats is that they do not tell the full picture. How many drop outs has Brough forced through his kicking ?
How many times has Brough being identified on the Boots n all stats pack as being the Giants most influential player
Who won the Albert Goldthorpe medal as being the most influential player
Who is in the OPTA dream team
Match reviews vs Leeds at Huddersfield
Quote BiffasBoysHuddersfield's other hero was skipper Danny Brough, who pulled all the strings and kicked six goals from seven attempts to keep his side on the heels of leaders Wigan Warriors.'"
Vs Leeds at Leeds
Quote BiffasBoysHuddersfield Giants captain Danny Brough produced a dazzling display to beat the Super League champions almost single-handedly and lead his side to a third successive win at Headingley. The difference was clearly Brough, who tonight produced a perfect tonic with a masterclass in tactical kicking. The little maestro was again off target with his conversion attempt but his superb in-play kicking kept the visitors on the front foot.

I will not bother with your posts in the future as you clearly dont understand the game of RL.
I would like Brough to win the man of Steel but would be equally content if it was to go to Peacock or Kirmond both of whom have had great seasons both as individuals and as part of their teams.
