I didn't think it was marginal - the penalising of crusher tackles has been fairly consistent; and I agree that Thaler stamps his authority on a game - that's his job - and it's an important function these days, what with players and coaches taking so many liberties.
I haven't been suckered Vasty - it's an opinion, that I formed by watching the game with my two eyes; so don't patronise me. |

It all started with Fash, nothing wrong with the tackle on LMS, but Fash pushed his head into the face of LMS as he was trying to get up, then the "handbags" started, along came Washbrook and ended up going into the side of the head of LMS with his knee. I think Washbrook just wanted to rough him up but you have to keep your knees away from the head, he should have just joined the handbags instead. |

Well you need to have a quiet word with Radford, pre game he was quoted as saying "We will be playing on the Cusp of Legality". Just watched the replay again with Houghton, prior to other two Hull players coming in to compress the tackle, Houghton was twisting Richardson neck as though he didn't know if his head was screwed on with a left or right hand thread, surprised the disciplinary have ignored it like most grapple tackles these days. |
