| Nasty piece of work. We need to get rid. There was enough negative publicity nationally with the Flower thuggery.

| It works out that since 2008 Hock has played 110 games, and been banned for 102 (68 drugs ban and 33 onfield)* Heck of a record!
Unless I'm mistaken his ban ends in round 9 vs Wigan, which is the same game Flowers ban ends right?
*cant take credit for working out the numbers, I just saw them elsewhere

| Hock must be close to a permanent suspension from the game, surely?

| He's good entertainment value though. If we wanted exposure like the WWE, he is the heel.

Yep, including 18 months for deliberately breaking an opponent's jaw, if I remember correctly. At which point he came over here and finished his career without any trouble. Oddly, he was a very quiet and polite bloke to talk to off the pitch.

| Boyd smashed Daryl Brohman's jaw and ended his career with a premeditated elbow. Got 12 months, wasn't back long and then picked up a 15 month suspension for eye-gouging.
At the time Jim Comans was on a purge to clean up the game in Australia, and Boyd gave him the perfect opportunity to put down a marker. If you watch some of the NSWRL stuff from the pre-Comans period, it was like Mad Max. Knees and elbows flying in everywhere, players being king hit and taken out off the ball.
