He has us playing some very good rugby which is entertaining to watch.
A used to be in the crowd who wanted him out, but I've seen enough this tournament to think we are very close to winning an international competition, even with McNamara in charge.'"
His record against OZ/NZ is won 1 LOST 7.
We've been close for 3 years. We need someone who can take us over that line. We have some truly world class players, so we're always going to be in the game.
Mcnamaras done some great things with the squad. But the results speak for themselves. Time to move on and keep improving.

His old gig of protecting his little brother whenever someone dare lay a hand on him. Bentham after that handbags between Sam and Foran..."yeah it's your penalty, I've just put it on report though because your brother ran in."
Dare I say Joel only got picked because of his surname???

| I have never seen England or Great Britain play with such attacking flair for the past 40 years -- not since Roger Millward and Thomas Bishop were Great Britain's dazzling halves. Today, led by the amazingly brilliant James Graham, England's attack was outstanding. Some of the credit for that attacking flair must go to coach Steven McNamara.

| Considering our last few visits Down Under then we are closing the gap, it's just been so long that we don't know how to get over the winning line but it'll happen soon I reckon. With several English guys making it in the NRL and excelling then I think the fear factor that was usually there when faced with the Aussies and Kiwis has disappeared and we've looked like a team who knows that we can match them, we just haven't found a way to get over the line yet.

| England are a couple of players short of being able to beat the big guns but we're getting there. England's problem though is more their defensive structures and line speed.

| So frustrating again. We're not far off and if we can keep G Burgess in league we should continue to improve. Having a few in the NRL has clearly worked and we need it to continue.
But annoying that we'll have to wait a year to see them play again.

| Clark our new international hooker. Best positive in the Four nations for England. Sarginson and Hall partnership brilliant. Wrong decision to put Joel in, think next season with more rugby league played he will be a good choice. Also find new winger instead of Charnley. If your keeping Watkins in possibly Briscoe

| After two seasons with the Sydney Roosters, Joseph Burgess should be ready in 2017 for a permanent spot on England's right wing, especially in the World Cup.

Until Kearney sussed it and put a plan in to stop it, England then didnt have a plan B

Nope, he's a left winger.

| Quote: Biff Tannen "Me too.We don't need to get too down on this tour and have to build on the pluses which there was many.
The thought of Roby and Clark doubling up is mouth watering, our front row is well set and Sarginson has made a seamless step up to the international stage.
Our back row is of course the worry and hopefully we get a few players that can step up and improve that area but we are moving in the right direction for sure.
I also think it is time to say thank you very much to McNamara and bring in a new coaching set up for next year.'"
This. Didn't think playing with one hooker worked. Its a real shame that Sam Burgess and James Roby weren't available because I think with those two it would have led to a victory against Aus and Kiwi.

Hall was at fault for two tries - I'd think about replacing him first before finding someone to start in Charnley's place.
I really don't get the hype about Clark. Good on the front foot, but the Kiwis absolutely bossed it at the ruck - that's the Hooker's domain.

Difficult to find too much fault with Hall on the first, He was isolated and Nightingale had the jump on him, if anything the kick pressure which was non existent (all day) was at fault.
The second was his fault, if you rush out like that you make the tackle or look a fool.He looked a fool.
Overall though Hall has dealt with pretty much everything thrown his way over the three games and has looked our biggest weapon near the line. Also Excellent bringing the ball back.
I called for Charnley not to be included before todays game but he was much improved on the first 2 games for sure.I still think we have better options at international level though.
Clark when on the field was excellent. You must have much been watching a different game to me

Hall may have come up with a couple of errors today but, he is head and shoulders above Charnley (and any other English winger) at present
It was a superb game of RL and sets up next season (against the Kiwi's) really well.
