| Quote: JB Down Under "About right for HKR. A little bit up on last years fixture which was probably an increased travelling fanbase from cas due to the north stand accommodating away fans in comfort. Cold Friday nights are never going to be a big draw card at craven park, hence why the club chooses to play its games on a Sunday afternoon. If that game had of been on a Sunday it would likely have been around 8000.'"
A little up on last year's Cas home game but still your second lowest attendance against them in Super League. In 2011 you played them in a round 27 game on a Saturday evening (presumably a TV game) and the attendance was 8,936.

| And only 300 less than 2012 which was a Sunday afternoon and more than 2013 which was also a night game. As I said for where the team and SL generally is at it was close to expected and better than last season, onwards and upwards!

Unless Sporting life is wrong, I think that statement is not true.
2014 v London = 8,500
2013 v London = 7,148

That's an increase so impossible for it to be their lowest ever in SL

| Mick Gledhill @TheGameCaller - I'm afraid it looks like we're going to test this today... Bradford's lowest ever Super League crowd stands at 6,217 (v Catalans, 2010).
Andy Wilson @andywiz - Gate 5410. Bulls lowest in super league, but still compares pretty well with half the comp. Impressively loyal hard core, given everything

| My money is on the sporting life attendance although the dreaded 00 ending will cause questions to be asked. I suspect the correct figure will come out as they will have to avoid paying tax on the correct number of ticket sales.

| I checked sporting and the SLE site too, both give the 8500 figure.
I'm not going to argue who is more authentic.
As I recall last year at Saints the announcer announced one crowd and the score board another. So it does happen. Although twitter is liable for someone to pick up a rumour and run with it.
I'm sure it will come out in the wash sooner or later

| Wigan 2014 = 11,703
Wigan 2013 = 12,152
So a decrease there. Think the over all numbers will be dependent on how valid Mick Gledhill is???

| Bradford V Castleford attendance of 8,214 recorded for the enthusiastically popular Round 1 of fixtures is beaten by Bradford V London two weeks later?
Really?
Ok.

there's always a first time.......and the word valid, used in the same sentence as Mick Gledhill is certainly breaking new territory

| Total SL attendance Round 3 ***= 54,173 (down 2.83%)
*Replace Widnes with the poorly supported Crusaders flight of franchised fancy.

5,410 That really is shocking.....Bradford were odds on for a win and yet their fans couldn't be bothered to turn up? Hardly makes them an attractive investment proposition if fans won't tuen up to see a bolted on victory
