| Ratchford has played well at 6 this season, and can kick. I'm biased I know, he's quite creative.

Hindmarsh was lucky Pryce diud'nt break his door down, smash his face in and rip his balls off...

One of them anyway.
I can't think of any half who can be picked that has a good enough kicking game now that Brough isn't included. I can only assume that Sinfield is playing.

| I wonder what side will be picked to play Wales. I'd like to see the likes of Briscoe (Tom), Ratchford etc given a chance to see how they cope. Although tbh against Wales everyone will have a field day and we won't learn much about anyone.

| You can see how people work within the structures but ultimately no, you wont find out much about someones ability to cope on the big stage.

I'd give Westerman a shot at LF, he can kick, admittedly I don't think he's a great kicker, but he's got more potential to take us forward than Sinfield who's a bit lightweight as a LF and a bit pedestrian as a SO (v.good club player for all that).
I don't see Brough as the saviour of England's SH problems either, his kicking game is good and he's nippy, but I think his handling and organising is a bit below what it needs to be. I think Burrow will be the default option and he might look great against France where his cheeky, novelty, scampering runs will trouble the poor lateral movement of the big French forwards, until he invariably gets knocked out half way through the first half. Having said that if Mogg plays with Bosc they may actually have a more effective halves combination than we do, and our halves will get their ar$es handed to them on a plate like Old Man Stan and that kid from the Qld cup did when we played PNG in the WC.

Whilst I still think Raynor is easily in the top three English wingers, he has his court case to worry about which probably makes him a no go. Not to mention the fact that he hasn't even been selected in the train on squad (the latter also goes for Craig Hall).

think we need to start with a big a pack as possible. then have McGuire come on after 15/20 for a prop, sinny to 13, McGuire to stand off, burgess/peacock to prop
