| Paul Wellens falling over in thin air has to be one of the funniest things I’ve seen at a game. It was the 03 challenge cup I think. He’s had a fair few falling over’s though..

| HKR v Batley being stopped after the ref spotted the Bulldog making a rude sign at him from behind the posts.
I don't think anyone else noticed, so not all refs are blind.

A Salford play sent a kick high up towards the clouds and we all watched it's graceful arc as it soared upwards, then came hurtling back down, straight onto the bonnet of the poor chap's car. He had no idea it was coming and nearly jumped thourhg the roof of his motor.
We tried not to laugh. Honestly.'"
I remember that ... Trying not to laugh !
IIRC, there was a bit of a flurry of tartan travel rugs and flasks of tea when it landed too inside it.

Your old ground, when it was down Holderness Road, was called Craven Park. Was it moved lock, stock & barrel to it's new location on the combined swamp/wind tunnel? Or would that be a 'new' Craven Park that was built off Poorhouse Lane?

| Indeed it was at that time a new Craven Park. However, that does not make it New Craven Park.

| A saints game once, think it was Mark Edmondson. Was clean through and it was like he hit a spring board, he just went flying through the air with no one near him.

Think the point is, can it still justifiably be called New Craven Park after already been there for 20 years

| I was at an amateur game once that was delayed because the ref got lost, and all the players were waiting on the pitch for ages as he frantically got changed, inspected both teams, did the coin toss etc. When the game finally kicked off, the ref blew his whistle, took two steps, slipped over and stayed down. It turned out he had badly twisted his ankle and the game had to be delayed again while everyone worked out what to do. He ended up carrying on and spending the rest of the match hobbling around on one foot.
Another one at Griffin Park a few years ago, Zeb Luisi booted the ball behind for a drop out and it hit a photographer square in the face. The camera went flying and the impact knocked him back into a deep brown puddle.
