I think as fans, you take it for granted when other teams are going through hard times. Widnes donated £10,000 to Bradford the other season as I know Other clubs helped out.

What is MK's agenda? I thought he was off to build a brand new stadium in Liverpool and put a rugby league team in it, now he seems to be every chemic's new bezzie mate.
Fair play if he's helping out in crisis, but I wouldn't be surprised to find that there's more to this than meets the eye.

He’s just helping out. He had talks with the club which fell through but still likes Widnes. Said last night at the fund raiser he’s still going ahead with the Liverpool idea but “never say never” about getting involved at Widnes.

I think this Liverpool idea is going to be very very difficult to achieve, especially if a new stadium is part and parcel of the plan. Sounds like another of his ideas that doesn't get off the ground, and there must be a reason as to why his bids have failed at Bradford and recently at Widnes.
