Me and Brian Mc have history and I still don't rate him as a coach, but if it's leeds v cas at OT, then it's leeds every day of the week...but I think Hull might just do it!

Hull don't worry us either so that's fine. You beat us at your place. We beat you at ours. (Yeh you beat us with 6/7 first teamers out) who knows at a neutral venue.

Every day of the week, but just not for a few years?
Don't give me guff about Leeds being battle hardened and all about thr big occasion, Hull absolutely schooled Leeds in the cup semi.

Big game nerves for Castleford won't be there downfall, just a good solid Saints side.
I hope the Cas fans are ready for the big game chokers tag to be thrown at them wether it's the case or not.'"

A profound lesson.'"
Yep. I learnt to never write off this side coached by Daryl Powell. Pretty profound indeed.

They seem to manage it in the NRL and the physical intensity on offer last night is the norm in that competition are they a different species?

No but I mentioned the SL schedule, the NRL's is shorter with bye weeks and doesn't have 2 double header weekends like we featured this year:

It is 10 years (and 12 games) actually - Sept 2007, Leeds 6 Hull 17

| Hope Hull do Leeds tonight and we see the 2 best teams this year (from the teams we (Salford) have played) battling it out at OT next week. Cas have been outstanding all year and fully deserve a GF win but I said pre-season I fancied Hull so I won't change my mind now.
Ideal scenario would be a Cas win as Hull have the CC and a trophy each would be a fair outcome. But when has sport ever been fair?!

| Did nobody else not think that Gale had completely fluffed it when he kicked it straight to Barba on the last tackle with 30 second to go?! Out of all the last tackle options to win the game, that must have been up there with the worst. Good job the penalty came even though in reality it didn't obstruct Shenton as he was nowhere near the ball.
Well done Cas though, I thought they'd taken the foot off when Saints scored twice in quick succession. Good to see them grind it out at the end. Worthy finalist.

| Quote: wire-quin "Justin Holbrook in his post game interview gave no credit to Cas.....bitter Aussie sod. Have some humility.'"
Why should he? They were clearly second best in every department. Saints lost that game, Cas didnt win it. He was obviously bitterly disappointed which came across in the interview. However, if he knew anything about the illustrious history of St Helens, he would know that Saints had done the exact same thing to many teams over the years and should have taken it on the chin.
I hope Cas win the final but they will really need to up their game
Regards
King James

You do get the feeling that this will be the game that stops that run, Hull seem to be very good (and focused) in one off games
