Agreed I dont think it would have made a difference who they put out we would have upped our game, perhaps it might not have been as easy as it looked, but with our individual flair and the teamwork the end result would have been the same imo.
And as you rightly say today was about the young players' and Leon the rest doesnt matter. |

The only problem with Wigan is that they offload there good young players, its unbelievable how many ex Wigan youngsters ply there trade in SL, championship and league one. Will they keep the Tomkins brothers, Ainscough and McIlorum, of course one as just left to Australia, thats Wigans only problem, brilliant at producing players but rubbish at keeping them. |

Haggerty is a product of the Widnes academy anyway. |

Haggerty is a SL player imo.
Widnes must of been the only club to offer him a deal in that area as he only left Quins to return home. |

Flanagan has gone to Australia to be with his girlfriend, it was a personal decision as opposed to a business decision. The only player Wigan released who I would take back is Briscoe. At the time he was behind Radlinski and was still jsut a young lad when he went to Hull. |
