Bring back a top six with the competition heavily weighted in favour of those that finish highest and that would change overnight. Top 8 in a 14 team league is just silly.

If they win the grand final as well, why not? Get it on the TV news, interviews with Ken Davy, Andersen, Brough. Also big up the England internationals in their team and the World Cup fixture at Huddersfield.

If Keighley had an open top bus parade through the town for winning the championship, Huddersfield deserve at least the same if they become SL champions.

Hope they do.....its been a long, long time since this club achieved something so i hope if we do win it we milk it for all we can, our loyal fans who have been through more bad times than most RL fans can EVER imagine deserve to revel in every little bit of success!!

.....as for the people of Huddersfield ? who knows, maybe they think we're still bottom of the entire rugby league and playing in front of 500, it might make them realise we aren't actually that bad and come and see for themselves. Time will tell.

Posted this on Rovers site, thought I'd put it on here. This would be the current table in matches between the play-off sides. Some teams achieve a lot of their points by being very consistent against the bottom 6. No so Huddersfield. League Leaders Shield well deserved

I think you're right, but his post is a little mixed up and referring to both tables. Warrington & HKR are both in the top 3 of Wildmoose's table, so we haven't lost to any team below third in that table.

Hudds need to build this media profile around big Eorl. Seems to be on the telly and radio quite a bit and he comes across better every time I see or hear him.
