| 6,327 at Wigan
7,603 at Wire
6,500 in France
2,459 in Sheffield.
22,889 fans bought tickets from the 78,333 available pool. When are the RFL going to get a grip on the reality that unless they actually encourage fans to go to games, then the cup will become more and more of a farce.
31,728 bothered last year...London were away, Catalans were at Home and a Championship side hosted a SL team....young Billy Eve will be creaming his panties at the thought of a 38% drop.
5,722 average for the Quarter Finals of the premier knock out competition in RL in Europe.
Given Leigh only holds 11,000 and the John Smiths 24,500.....it's good to see the RFL are aiming high for the premier Knock out comp semi-finals......let's hope the fans from Hull FC and Warrington can be bothered, because Wigans fans most assuredly weren't tonight!

| A home game for Wigan, really? I'm not sure the RFL could have picked a more hostile place for Wigan to play in a cup semi. Local fans against and loads of clubs in the area that ain't big fans, bit like the HJ semi against Les Cats.
I see it as the RFL doing their best to spice up the semi.

| Leigh Sports Village = 7 miles from Wigan; 215 miles from London.
I just wonder how many Wigan fans will be paying for accommodation on top of very expensive public transport fares from London as the last train back will no doubt be an early departure making a day return out of the question. This decision is a complete fail and devoid of any sense of fair play to the London fans - and I mean the few fans we have left. COYB!

HJ would have been better though, rubbish transport links at Leigh.'"
Train stations 3 miles away from the LSV as you very well know, but yet you continue with your tedious rants. You should do a Portilloesque review of your journeys by train to every RL ground, it would be fascinating!

Wow have a look on google maps to see how difficult it is to get to the LSV by motorway, some of you SL fans are ignorant 4ckwits.

Did nobody give you directions, bless.

6,237 bothered with Widnes.....do you expect any more to trek the 12 miles to Leigh to watch what many expect to be a hammering? Are you saying that Leigh fans will pile into the stadium just to boo Wigan

| Nearest station 3 miles, that's close, only about 40 minutes walk for a quick getaway then.
Warrington's is about 3 minutes away as i very well know, main line for Leigh, you have choice of Bank Quay, Wigan, Piccadilly, more than 3 miles. Leigh is terrible to get to by public transport and i'm from Golborne.
