I presume the stock car job is based on 10k crowds? When considering the pandemic would we actually see 10k at Odsal? Before March?

Hansons mortar.
They want to test out a new product, so a nice big hole to fill will do nicely.
A bit like the Pfizer Jab !!
It would make a lovely car park.

Quite fitting.

Many a true word spoken in jest. If this was done the site would become very valuable as land for a massive depot for a logistics business.
Flog that off and build the Bulls a new stadium across the road......

Sounds good. I think we can make this boutique stadium a real RL family effort. Firstly we could probably start the site-clearance and groundworks if the SL clubs gave back the sky money they took off the club and distributed among themselves. Then given their frankly staggering expertise we might get Feath fans to build us a few stands.

not going to fall back into arguing about the rights and wrongs of sky money, I made in my past posts and one of your fans even agreed to being it wrong when we suffered in our early years, so I haven't a problem with the RFL spending money on the stadium as long as some profits are divided back to all clubs and Bradford don't get some peppercorn rent for odsal
does that sound fair

The peppercorn rent is in place (circa £70k) presumably as an acknowledgement that the maintenance costs of Odsal (c £350k to 500k per annum) that the club has to pay are so high. If we have a remedy to the unsustainable cost of maintaining the place then we'd perhaps be able to pay a larger rent. I still don't think Stock cars brings us remotely close to making Odsal sustainable.
I'm not sure what profits you are hoping for though. You would think that as lease-holder the RFL would want to sweat the asset but that's certainly not happened to any meaningful degree. Renovating the place might enable them to hold double-header semi-finals there, or an international 9s comp, or other events that might generate a profit but I don't think they have the nous to fully utilise the place.

It would be good for a 9s comp, with that tiny pitch.
It's fit for nothing else, bar landfill.
