No, that was only a rumour. The latest rumour was that the RFL instructed Catalan to stop in England after the Salford game and play Saints at a neutral venue on Thursday. Saints agreed to it but Catalan later refused and went back to France. The new Covid rules came into play on the Thursday and the international protocol needed to be clarified, result cancellation of the fixture and the play offs agreed for next week.

They allowed the Wigan game, to complete 17 games as per Saints to decide the LLS.
