Not having a go at you here but, our sport is just an amateur set up, especially right at the top of the sport.

There are some in charge, taking huge wages and they would be useless running a mickey up in a brewery.

The gain the kudos of having a popular (ex) Royal making the draw but, haven't got the faintest idea on how to maximise the exposure of him doing so.

The formal stuff starts at around 1pm so I expect the draw will be made around 1:30pm. My mate is hoping to be away by 3 to catch his flight home.

It is all going on in the same place but even people attending are not sure what time. I just happened to speak to someone representing a nation this morning and he said he couldn't meet for a beer as he had to be there for 1pm and was hoping to leave at 3pm for a 6pm flight.

It does seem to be a bit better organised than the table in the reception area of the Keepmoat stadium to announce Tony Adams however I'm not sure how much better organised.

There is of course the security aspect and maybe HRH is too much of a risk as public enemy number one to have the every details released just yet.

I agree and therefore, it's unlikely to be drawn "live" on TV and consequently, it would have been well advised to say that the draw will be "shown" at (peak time) on whichever TV channel. Instead, we have "the biggest RL event in history" looking more like school sports day, where everyone may have to hang around for the special guest to give out the prizes.
