At the risk of appearing unpatriotic, I want Toronto to win, because I worry if they lose the final again their backers might start to lose interest, and then the whole north American experiment and expansion scenario could collapse.

On the other hand Toulouse were not really expecting to be promoted at the end of this season. Toulouse are probably two ferocious prop forwards short of winning the Championship. Hopefully they will strengthen their player roster for the 2020 season, especially in the forwards, and get promoted to Super League at the end of 2020.

Depends how it's decided. It's a racing cert that a few chairmen would prefer to see a weaker side promoted, ideally even weaker than London proved to be this year.

the side promoted should be exempt from relegation the following year for them to get up to speed, they did it with catalan

It will be a farce if they are not allowed promotion.

Salford currently don't have a big following ( though hopefully will pick up some more fans after a good run in the play-offs) Wire fans just finished an expensive month with visits to Perpignan and Wembley,playing Cas for third time this year on a Thursday night. Cas fans had an even tougher prospective evening on a Thursday night.
