Quote Roy Haggerty="Roy Haggerty"Interesting how many people are tipping Saints, considering we've made no major signings, and are still essentially the team which performed so badly in much of last season, and was still getting beaten in the Super 8s, despite the "recovery".
I think Wigan are unpredictable. Sarginson is returning under a cloud and neither Tomkins nor Burgess who came before him on that path have found their previous form. And losing McIlorum must be an enormous blow to their on-field organisation.'"
I think Saints might be one of those of teams that are very consistent but can't find that extra level in a big do or die game. I fancy them to finish top but not make either final.

Really tough to predict though. I am fairly confident that the bottom three will be correct (not necessarily that order) and I am equally confident Saints and Hull will make the top 4. The rest is anyones guess really. Can Cas back up last years remarkable season without, imo, their most important player? Can Leeds cope with the loss of a couple of club legends better than they did last time? Warrington will improve, but how much will they improve? Will Wigan avoid another injury crisis? Actually, add that to the list of things I'm confident about. They will have used approx. 73 players by mid April.
My dark horse is Huddersfield. There was a lot to like about the back end of their season. If Brough can avoid the petulance and prove he still has it then they might just make a playoff charge.
