Well as they've said, they've looked for solutions to play it out in Canada, but they've not been able to for whatever reason.

This means they've given up home advantage, taken the game away from their fans (ones they're trying to keep following rugby league, so wouldn't reverse the fixture at first chance), so are more likely to lose the game.

Surely, as a Leigh fan, you'd rather this the case. You're expected to fight for top spot with TWP, so surely you should be happy that they've had to play the match over here. But instead, once again, you're trying to take the for some stupid "I hate expansion" reason.

They have no access to their regular stadium as it is being upgraded. As such, they have informed fax and the RFL many months in advance and given everyone ample time to make other arrangements.....the End!

If you're not a fan of Toronto, I'd suggest looking at the finer details of what is and isn't happening there rather than knee jerk reactions to a venue change..........like instead of 11 regular season home games + the nd of year jamboree 3 or 4, the good beer loving folk of Toronto will get 10 games max....saving the sponsor a few bob on flying away teams in........and hotel costs etc. Also the block of "away" games meaning that flights into the UK won't be fortnightly...again saving some wedge.........I suspect that a dose of reality has been served to Mr Perez by his financial backer and 2018 will be all about getting into SL by any means available.....
....but you keep counting the fans in the stands on Premiere

As a Fax fan not fussed. Wasn’t going anyway. Plus our part time players don’t have to make that ridiculously long journey and stay in crap accommodation so will be fresher for a game against a rival. Toronto’s loss. As well as their season ticket holders’. Our players won’t be out of pocket either. Win win

They are in Our league (1) Because they don't have a league of their own, and (2) because we want to expand our game's influence into other nations.

I suppose it's all a bit hard to grasp looking out from the dusty old windows of a dilapidated house or flat on Sefton Street, Leigh.

, the good thing though about looking out of a dusty old window in a dilapidated house in Leigh, as against looking out of dusty old windows in a dilapidated house in Chorley is you can here the crowd cheering on their rugby team.

No they won’t. They already make more money and have more fans that Huddersfield so they will be fine
