Peter Gentle as an assistant at Wests came in to an underfunded Hull side, bloodied a load of rookies due to injury and took us from near relegation/most boring rugby since forever (under Agar) and got us to 5th/6th and a CC final in his 2 seasons. In the two seasons in charge he rarely had two fit halves, often none, Rich Horne at the end of his career was doing okay til he again got injured and Daniel Holdsworth was never right after his head injury.
For all that his win ratio for all games was 53%, that's a few % less than Radford last year (56.6%) with a massively superior squad and settled/quality halfbacks

As I asked originally, what has that got to do with anything? Please enlighten me? By your laughable logic are you saying you can’t critique anything unless you personally are better than the subject matter you are discussing? For example. Kevin Brown is probably the worst 6 in SL. However, he is a better 6 than me. Does that mean I can’t label him rubbish?

Only time will tell if he does well at Warrington. Think he could really do with a a strong start to the season though to get the confidence back in the club and fans after last season.
