| It's now the fashion to immediately blame mental health issues and mollycoddle than come straight out and state that X person isn't taking personal responsibility for their actions.
Our society has turned into a bunch of ludicrous liberals were you can do what you want and expect to get a comforting arm around your shoulder.
This is apparent in all walks of life and is not benefitting society one bit.
As someone with very personal experience of mental health I'm sick to death of the leniancy/there there approach after multiple incidents/chances. I've being given a second chance and given chances and helped others but some people take the micturate and should be dealt with other than the softly softly approach.
Chase should be in the non softly softly appraoch IMHO

2 questions:
A) do you have any case notes/doctor notes or information about Rangi Chase as an individual
B) Do you have any medical qualification in the mental health area? P.S the liberal bit was particularly cringey.
If none of the above, do think before speaking.

On a side note ..... as someone who has experienced mental health in his own immediate family, some of the comments below from the wakefield forum are an absolute disgrace....
You perhaps thought you were posting on the independent Cas echo chamber forum, where a post about Rangi's latest misdemeanour could easily be transmogrified into an anti-Wakefield discussion? As it is, I don't see anything particularly off-colour in the discussion you've highlighted.
Chase is clearly a troubled young man - he seems unable to conduct himself in a professional way and persistently self-destructs; whether that's a symptom of ongoing mental health problems remains to be seen. Either way, turning up leathered at a stadium where your presence is clearly incendiary, and getting into a fight with a spectator, is a fast-track to unemployment - which can only exacerbate his problems.

Chase has been to at least 2 Fev matches in the past without any issues so you can't just put it down to him going to the match as a one off.

Which are his own doing.
He has to take responsibility and consequence for his actions

| Going to Widnes on loan for the rest of this season. No call-back clause and Castleford won't be taking up their option to sign him in 2018.

Gutterfax - Yawnion patronising Troll
Lebron James - yet another Yawnion patronising Troll, born watching the wrong sport he knows his beloved yawnion is 100 behind League so tries to talk Yawnion up and league down.:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_20989.jpg |

| Such a shame it didn't work out for him with us again - but I'd rather him go than keep upsetting the apple cart like this. But this is good news for Widnes in my opinion - gives them a little bit of spark and something to get excited about.

He does - I haven't seen him looking for excuses? Mental Health problems can cause diminished responsibility in a lot of cases. I had bad depression about 10 years ago and did all sorts of strange things - your decision making process is impaired.
I hope he comes through with his career in tact - produced 2 of the most memorable highlights in terms of pure skill in the 20 years I've been watching RL.

Are mental health problems a continuation of your life? Or do you fix them? He left Leigh with mental problems,he returned to a sport that created those mental issues with Cas..
Now mental health issues are one thing, but paying the bills is another..
Are you saying he should sit out at Widnes when he arrives? Take another club for a ride.

From what I can tell Rangi has had quite a colourful upbringing, these things could be deep rooted problems and probably are tbh.
No one that good with a Rugby Ball is gonna be happy just sat collecting wages. He already retired once but had to come back - ed the other night at Fev - he's clearly struggling.

He's done the same at all clubs. How can he go to Widnes to play with mental health problems? He either has them or doesn't. If he does have mental health issues, then Cas are wrong in loaning him out and Widnes are wrong in accepting him.
Personally i'm sick to death reading about personal mental health problems which are being used as an excuse. This is one of those cases..A person who is not happy unless he is putting himself in trouble.
