I agree, I enjoy a nice trip over to Hudds. It's by far the friendliest away day in West Yorkshire

Given Leigh took an impressive following for the last game ( and Batley took even more according to some Loiners ) your point probably doesn't stand , however as pointed out Leeds took more to The Giants for their 8s than the regular season games

That surprises me. I would of though Hull FC and Cas Tigers would have taken well over 1,000 supporters to Hudds away.

| Hull averaged 11,302 in the regular season (that's over 10 games, I couldn't find a figure for the Saints home game. In the 8's we averaged 12,387, which gives an overall of 11,612.
Not sure what to expect next year. Losing the game against Hull KR will hurt our attendances of course (our highest crowd, beating the LLS clash with Wire by about 50), but sales so far are very good, and with the success of last year you would like to think we can get close to an extra 1000 through the door on a regular basis, especially if we can be competitive again.

***HAVE**
They did this year, and have on other occasions, but not consistently, one year Cas brought 170 when things weren't going so well. Saints, Wire and Hull FC aren't usually too far off either though.

So Hulls attendances increased for the 8s ? , excellent

| One of the most interesting things for me will be seeing what difference Leigh replacing Rovers is going to make to attendances. Rovers always brought a good following to us which I doubt will be matched by Leigh. Having said that, as we've drawn Leigh at home first game of the season, Leigh's travelling support may be very good for that game with it being their first game back in SL. It may be that Lancashire clubs attendances benefit from Leigh replacing Rovers, and Yorkshire clubs attendances suffer slightly. It will be interesting to see how it starts to average out as the season goes on.

Yes but it was skewed by a 17000+ crowd for the game against Wire to decide the LLS. The other games were very similar to what we were getting in the regular season.

Both Batley and Leigh brought a much bigger following than a lot of super league clubs. Leeds's drop in attendances for the super 8's was certainly from less home fans attending.

Based on these figures:
the18thman.com/2016/09/28/super- ... ew-2016/2/
Toulouse and Toronto will easily surpass the attendance figures of Salford and Wakefield, by more than double. They will also significantly outperform the likes of Widnes and Huddersfield.
Toronto's advanced season ticket sales for League One are already at least equal to the average total attendances of Super League's Salford.
Thus the admission of Toulouse and Toronto into Super League, at the expense of Salford, Wakefield, Widnes etc. will surely lead to a very significant increase in Super League attendance figures.
