Yes and that was around 3 months ago.

Certainly in their first season, they will very likely be the best supported team outside SL, with KR and the Bulls not too far behind.
After that who knows but, it will be a big, big, ask to turn "failed" american football players into Championship standard RL players within 2 or 3 years.

I know that they will be able to fill their team with Aussies and European players but, their long term success will depend on RL taking off in North America and that will be a long, long process.

As others have said, it's a great "away" trip, in RL terms, Toronto is the most vibrant city in the western hemisphere and it would be difficult not to enjoy a long weekend over there.

I don't think they had sold 3K season tickets a few months ago, I remember there being some confusion around this but I think 3000 people had registered their interest for a season ticket, not actually bought one.

Correct,it wasn't actually registering for an interest in a season ticket.It was registering to be placed on their mailing list with an outlook to being given priority to a season ticket should you register.
