I'd rather see a well structured academy/reserve grade than a couple of extra teams from France,Canada etc

14 for me with Toulouse and Toronto being added to the leagues and seemingly more growth to come.

Keep it as it is!!! I think its becoming a joke that people want it changing nearly every season.

The only change I would make would be to get rid of the MPG. Top 4 come straight up. No 4th vs 5th crap.

Super 8s stay as it is. Yeh the bottom 2/3 teams may not have a chance of a top 4 finish but its their own fault for letting the top 4 get so far ahead.

This would seem the fairest option, but Sky love drama like this 'cos it makes good telly. However it is heartless for all the true fans of the teams involved.

The team that finishes first should be champions. Either get rid of the Grand Final gimmick or turn it into another comp e.g football has the league and FA cup.

The grand final is hardly a gimmick, there has been a final more than there hasn't been through the history of our game. The only real period that there wasn't one was from the early 70s to super league.

Did I dream about the RL Premiership that lasted until 1995?

I'm not really old enough to remember the premiership in masses of detail, remember a couple of the later ones. I was meaning more a grand final to determine the league champions, akin to what we have now, but you're quite right, there was a final of some description.

Only teams beginning with W were allowed to win it.

........and overlook one of the biggest most prosperous cities in the world located some 150 miles south of the RL hub, and they say there is not bigotry towards the south.
