Approx 2000 last night, taking away the estimated 250 from Rovers, that leaves a Super League club in one of the UK's largest cities only drawing around 1750 home fans for a non-televised game.

Not sure what out 2004 2nd tier average was but it wouldn't have been anywhere near that high and probably a fair bit lower than the 3500 we are averaging this season.

Just had a look at a few of our 2004 attendances and they seemed to vary between 1400 and 2500 so i'd guess a 2000ish average. So a big increase when we went up to SL even taking into account how much of an absolute flop that season turned out to be.
