Really enjoyed watching it. Guess we'll get to know the players more now they've been whittled down a bit.

Episode 2 is on now! Thought it was going to be weekly so surprised to see it on now.

Episode 2 - they have a trained psychologist on the team, yet still left a guy on the rooftop for 30 mins who was clearly freaking out. I guess it made good TV, but surely would have made more sense for the pro to talk to him, rather than Adrian Lam (I'm guessing she wasn't there for the task which in itself seems an odd ommision ?)

One of the English lads went out tonight. Was a tad harsh on him seeing as he didn't have chance to play in the game due to injury. I bet the captain feels guilty he swapped him into the bottom 3.

I didn't quite get it. The coaches didn't put him in the bottom three yet when he got swapped they then voted him out. It did seem really harsh.

Really enjoying the series so far. I think they could tweak it and improve it by showing a bit more of the matches and maybe a bit more of the players down time but overall it certainly beats watching most other rubbish on the box.

I thought it was the rest of the team that pick the bottom 3, the captain can then choose if he wants to swap one of them out. the coaches then decide from the bottom three.

I'm enjoying the series, the captain's runs so far have been brutal!

I think the coaches come to a decision of their weakest rookie. But the players vote for the bottom 3 so then the coaches select their lowest rated rookie from the bottom 3 and he leaves.

I think the coaches may have binned off Elias if the bottom 3 had Karo been kept in it. Freddy didn't seem impressed with him running it on the 5th twice and said that if he wants to play union he should go back to it.

Must be down to watching him in training every day as the captain did say he was struggling as a half back.

Also the rookies must have players in reserve right. How are they putting out 13 players when players are injured. Must have players on bench to interchange

How many player are actually left? They went from 28 to 14 right and 3 have gone so that only leaves 11.

I was wondering that. It seems like quite a flawed elimination process when they have to play a game every week. Really enjoying it as a series though.

would be incredibly flawed if you've got one in each position, and you lose all your forwards or all you backs in a row, knackers up the entire show.

They should have just maintained the 9s approach and have full time limits.

Think it's 12 isn't it, they brought Matt Johnstone back in the second episode.
