Quote UllFC="UllFC"You'd have thought they could have at least ambushed both RU games there this week and handed out leaflets near the ground and in the pubs, bought some billboard ads in the Tube stations etc. Many would have been diehard RU fans who wouldn't be interested, but I suspect there would have been thousands of Kiwi's who live in London who would give both codes a go, and neutrals who will turn out for any 'event' but I doubt they've done anything like that.'"
You would think something like this would be a given but hey its the RFL and they don't know how to promote the game.
There would have been thousand of causals at the game who are not die hard RU fans. These are the people you want to aim for, people who enjoy live sport and will buy tickets on impulse.
I always get the feeling that the RFL feel that they can only concentrate and promote one event at a time. Its like they have to wait until the grand final is done and dusted before they can promote the internationals.
