| Quote FlexWheeler="FlexWheeler"Hudds would have been far more deflated had wigan lost, as it would have meant them blowing the league leaders shield. As it is, they wen't from playing leeds at home, to playing leeds away, to playing wigan away in the space of about 90 seconds
But after a good nights sleep, they'll realise it's still all to play for. Wigan maybe slightly deflated due to how it ended, will be eager to brush this away with a ''LLS, who needs that? we'll take the grand final!!'' kind of attitude.
As long as hudds don't do their usual playoff kind of performance it should be a really good game.'"
I'm not sure. Hudds have lost all that momentum they had. Wigan absolutely flattened Cas and scored some cracking tries. Wigan lost it last week. This week it was Leeds shield to lose, not Wigan.

| I'm not sure they will have lost momentum- didn't after the last loss- went on the best running streak of any other team in the 8.

The difference is having the mentality to do that in the games that really matter. Leeds managed it but it's in no way easy. Should Hudds contrive to do it, it may well set them up as one of the very best for the next few years.

| Quote Saddened!="Saddened!"Super ending to a superb night. From the body language on the Huddersfield players, that is the end of their season.
You can tell whether a teams season ends by watching the players body language at the end of a game? I bow to your ability....cliched utter clap trap.

But the actions of Grix and McGilvray? Why did they both ignore the ball? It's getting a bit WWE. They will probably bring out Ryan Bailey interference with a steel chair in the final.'"
Don't think there's anything McGillivray could have done. Grix though did hesitate and should have put his body on the line, may not have been able to get the ball but might have at least made it harder for Hall to take the ball in full flight. In the end he just looked like he'd bottled it (I'm not actually saying he did it was probably more about indecision)

| Amazing finish. Something like that really is special to our game in particular. You won't see that anywhere else. In the dying seconds of a game, top of the league shield on the line, and they pull it off in spectacular fashion. I really am happy for them, they deserved that wholeheartedly and you can tell by their elation at the end. You see the worthiness in battling all season just for that one moment. If the semi's and final are of that calibre, I will be extremely happy. If Hudds and Leeds make the final, I will be there.

| I'm sure the Giants players were degected to lose that game
But to say its season over is laughable
as a giants fan I think it will be easier to go away to Wigan than play Leeds two weeks running, home or away
Naturally I'd rather play saints at home
