Everyone knows that Catalans are capable of much better than the performance they dished out yesterday at Craven Park. Shipping 50 points is intolerable with the roster of playing talent that the club has.
And I say that with full respect for the talent that Hull KR has, especially Terence Campese, Albert Kelly and Kenneth Sio, -- talent which I have been talking up since before the season started.
I am starting to think that a new coach, or at least a Director of Rugby who supervises the coach, is in order for Catalans.

The first three are "not up to NRL standard", Dureau is competent but no more, Lima a penalty machine. Taia and Anderson are both decent, though. |

To be fair Jean you did talk up the 3 rovers players you mentioned and all have been fantastic especially campese Catalans looked very strong for the first 30 making plenty of yards up the middle on there sets but as soon as we started throwing the ball wide they had nothing |

Hull KR are now in the top 8 and I stand by my preseason prediction that they will end the regular season in the top 8 so long as Campese and Kelly do not suffer serious injuries.
Catalans are now in the top 4 (just) and I predict that they will end the season in the top 4 so long as Carney gets back soon and Dureau, Ta'ia and Escare do not suffer serious injuries. |

The first three have played in the NRL (Oldfield was a replacement winger for Manly) and Tonga has played for Queensland and Australia. |
