Have to say that Carney has been excellent in the first half. Warrington have been dire though.

Carney has kicked really well. Warrington have been very lazy in defence and are making far too many errors.

Warrington are lucky that Catalans have made so many mistakes with passes (Tonga throws into touch, two other players throw forward passes, three bad offloads to Warrington) otherwise it would be 30-0 by now.

Catalans have been ok but the story of the half is how poor, lethargic and soft Warrington have looked. If you look past Daryl Clark and Chris Hill, the Wire team doesn't really look that impressive.

Warrington must do better in the second half. But with their Championship quality halves I cannot see them winning this game, nor too many this year.

Just goes to show what backing up against an NRL team does to you.

If Wigan, Warrington or Saints were playing in the NRL, they would be in trouble this week.

As for Carney, hardly a super star. But a decent signing.

If Todd Carney was any kind of player, he would have already had this game won for Catalans. As it is, it's only 18-0.

I like the spirit we are seeing from Warrington. They could make an impression later on this year.
