Possibly.
The Kiwis don't always travel that well to the UK and have struggled on recent tours.
OTOH, England or GB haven't been able to buy a win against the Kiwis down under throughout the entire SL era. Played 10, Lost 10 is their record.

| Quote William Eve="William Eve"There's some far more important Moonie Weekend fixtures to organise and announce first!

An announcement in March confirming international dates and venues is a reasonable guesstimate, though I wouldn't rule out an announcement as late as May immediately after the conclusion of the Moonie Weekend.'"
They've already said that details will be announced in November. November hasn't finished yet.

| The matches will take place on the 24th and 31st of October and the 7th of November.
If tickets were available now how many would they realistically sell before New Year when their target audience (mostly) will have/be buying club ST/shirts as well as other Xmas expenses? For games that don't take place for nearly a year I doubt they'd be an urgency from fans to get them right away.

| Quote JB Down Under="JB Down Under"Id have to say that was the best kick and chase game Ive seen from England in many years. We normally give up loads of field position to poor kicks.
He needs to get some good results in the NZ series if he is to stay around for the RLWC. End of day it is a results game and we havent had results for a very long time. No trophies for trying!
on promotion, I really hope thye start up an England supporters club and book out one end to it at each ground. Get everyone in white and lets create some atmosphere. England Crusade!'"
I think he's steering us in the right direction. Whether he can deliver the final product is debateable.
One thing I seriously hope is he stops picking players on past performances.

| You could put Wayne Bennett in the job but England will never win anything as long as the Kiwis and Kangaroos are still playing international footy.

| Quote Sal Paradise="Sal Paradise"Do you really need to know where these games are going to be played a year in advance? Is knowing that really going to impact your social life and your travel arrangements? If it were the world cup I would agree but this a three game series - first game will be played 2 weeks after the GF and the subsequent 2 Saturdays.
They need to launch once the season has started and fans have got back into a rugby mentality - March would seem a good time. Six months should be ample time to successfully promote 3 games.'"
We can't all roll down the M62 when we feel like it. Some people would need to book flights, accommodation and plan time off. I had to sit at home watching the 4 Nations thanks to the decision to release fixtures for a tour to Aus/NZ in May. I just couldn't commit without knowing the dates/fixtures. I'm sure I'm not the only one. It will cost me around £250 to attend each test - so yes - I do need to know.
The Wembley test also needs a 12-month lead in. If they want to get anywhere near 50k they need concerted marketing over a period of time. Sadly, RL fans just won't turn up to things without a massive push. I can't believe I'm agreeing with William but we are all talking about the 4N and Kiwis now! Not the sodding Magic weekend.

Their target audience for the Wembley test would be those tens of thousands of non-heartland fans who attended the Semi-Final. I have never been in a RL crowd with so many non-northern voices. They won't be buying season tickets but they will be buying and looking for offers. This just shows how narrow-minded we have become.

| Wonder how many of the NRL-based players for both countries will suddenly find their clubs protesting that they need off-season surgery immediately after the NRL Grand Final?

I'm guessing November (just like International RL) is just another afterthought.
Joke sport run by clowns, supported by morons.
